According to a statistic of the Binh Duong Environment Protection Branch, there are about 400 tons of solid waste discharged everyday, in which about 60%-70% is recycled, about 40-60 tons of harzadous waste not being collected for treatment. This amount of waste increases about 20% per year, in average, together with this, amount of uncontrolled waste also increases. In addition, awareness of waste classification from residents is not high, industrial waste is even mixed in municipal waste causing difficult for treatment process.
