Southern Binh Duong Water Environment Improvement project -phase 2- carried out by Binh Duong Water Supply Sewerage Environment Co., Ltd has been officially tanken into implementation period after nearly one year since the Loan Agreement has became valid (from July 2012)

Package of Consultancy for survey, detail design, tendering support and implementaion supervision was awarded to joint venture of Nihon Suido Consultants (NSC) (Japan), Water Supply Sewerage Environment Consultancy Joint Stock Co., (WASE) (Vietnam) and Indochina Construction Consultancy Co., (ICC) (Vietnam). Ground breaking ceremony of Southern Binh Duong Water Environment Improvement project -phase 2- is expected to be held in early quarter II/2014.

The Japanese Government continues funding the captioned project-phase 2-through Japanese International CooperationAcency (JICA). Beside main target of waste water collection and treatment for wards out of phase 1 (in Thu Dau Mot city) and for whole Thuan An district, the project contributes in improving quality Saigon’s river water as well as protecting Southern Binh Duong water environment and surrounding areas. Implementation of the captioned project is planned from early quarter II/2014 to 2018.
