(BDO) After 7 months of construction, on 20 September 2014, Biwase organized Inauguration Ceremony of Di An 2 Water Treatment Plant, capacity 50,000m3/day x 2.

This plant has used 450 billions dong for investment and been implemented under PPP form (Private – Public Partnership) to mobilize private fund for water work and environment facilities in accordance with the policy of the Government.

Thu Dau Mot Water Joint Stock Company is the employer of the plant. Beside fund mobilized from Biwase staffs and investors, it also gets financial support from Asian Development Bank (ADB), Binh Duong Development Investment Fund and other commercial and joint stock banks.

Given speech in the ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, Mr.Tran Van Nam highly appreciated effort of Biwase staffs in applying the policy, fund mobilization to meet the demand on infrastructure development for social economic growth of the province. Di An 2 water treatment plant quickly meet the demand on clear water for living and production of the region with participation from private sector. Biwase should continue its achievement in order to operate the plant effectively and efficiently.
