In the after noon of November 12th, 2013, at the office of Binh Duong Water Supply Sewerage Environment Co., Ltd (BIWASE), an Awarding Photo Contest “Water-Environment and Life” ceremony was hold by Binh Duong Liturature and Art Branch. This is the first photo contest funded by BIWASE.

To be mobilized on September 2013, the contest attracted 410 photos from professional and non-professional local and national artists. Board of emaminers comprise prestigious artists in Viet Nam.

Mr. Nguyen Van Thien, BIWASE’s General Director, said that most of the photos strictly follow with the contest’s topic.These photos reflect the environment, life, living and producing activities as well as importance of water to life, water source pollution, ect… This contest is calling people to reserve and protect water source as well as the environment to be clean, beautiful and safe for community’s health.

Organizing Board awarded the first prize to photo “ Tho Lo” (Worker at incinerator) by Tran Tinh photographer; the photos” Cong nghe tai che” (Recycling technology) by Ngo Huy Hoang photographer and “ Hay giu nguon nuoc sach” (Keep water source clean) by Bui Vy Van photographer won the second prizes; photos “Giup do ban doi” (Assisting life partner) by Vu Quang Song and “Duong ve” (Home road) by Pham The Sang won the third prizes. In addition, the Organizing Board also awarded 5 consolation prizes for other photographers.
