To celebrate Vietnamese Women’s Day Oct.20th and create a useful playing field for union members as well as seeking for MC of BIWASE’s events which will take place in the coming time, BIWASE Union and Youth Union cooperated to organize a competition named “BIWASE’s MC 2014” and “ Foods of 3 regions”.

The competition “BIWASE’s MC 2014” was taken place from Oct.04th to Oct.20th, 2014. Candidates are BIWASE’s staffs who are under 33 years old for women and under 35 years old for men. The competition comprises 3 matches. A short-listing match was held from Oct.04th to Oct.10, 2014 at enterprises under BIWASE. There are 16 candidates selected into a semifinal match that was happened at 14:00 on Oct.20th, 2014 and a final match for 5 most excellent competitors selected from the semifinal match.

Candidates had made very excited performance including: introducing about himself, voicing for a video clip within 5 mins., interviewing a successful honourable guest from BIWASE or from water sector, showing ability of an MC for a performance given by the Organization Board.

All candidates had shown their ability in mastering a stage and they have much of social knowledge. For final results, the first prize was given to Ms.Pham Phuong Thao coming from the Waste Treatment Enterprise, Mr. Nguyen Hoang Cong Thai from the Urban Service Enterprise won the second prize and the third prize was given to Ms. Nguyen Phuong Thao coming from the PMU of Southern Binh Duong province Water Environment Improvement Project.

As much exciting as the MC competition is “Foods of 3 regions” made by male staffs of BIWASE. This is a chance for men to show their love to women on the Vietnamese Women’s day. All guests attending the competition really enjoyed foods made by amatuer cooks. Besides making beautiful regional decoration for foods, male cndidates also expressed their good taste by making delicious foods which contributed in success of the competition. In the end of “Foods of 3 regions” competition, there was a coincidence that Northern style foods made by the team of Chanh Phu Hoa Investment - Construction JSC and Thu Dau Mot Water JSC and the team of Di An and Tan Uyen Water Supply Enterprises had won the first and second prizes respectively.

Competition organization was also highly evaluated by BIWASE’s management board though it is the first time which cannot avoid some certain mistakes. However, the biggest success from this competition is a warm and solidarity atmosphere created by staffs who together live and work for the same company named BIWASE.
