Water hyacinth is an acquatic plant. This kind of plant has been quickly developing during the last time in Sai Gon river causing dificulties in water traffic and taking water for treatmen. Therefore, fishing water hyacinth out from rivers is one of solutions to make flow through, ensuring environmental sanitation.

Responding with “ making the world cleaner” campaign, on one of voluntary Saturdays showing voluntary spirit of BIWASE’s Youth, afternoon of August 31st, 2013, Youth branch and Trade Union of Thu Dau Mot Water Supply Enterprise under BIWASE hold an activity on making the environment clean and fishing garbage and water hyacinth out from Sai Gon river, at raw water pumping station-Thu Dau Mot water treatment plant, Chanh My commune- Thu Dau Mot city.
