This is part of the program 'Warm Spring for Border Residents' by Biwase and its member units, providing gifts to poor and near-poor households in the border regions. The delegation also visited, extended New Year greetings, and presented gifts to officers and soldiers at the border posts.

The total value of the 'Warm Spring for Border Residents' program in Phuoc Thien and Hung Phuoc communes is 150 million VND. Each gift package includes cash and essential items to support the residents' daily needs and help them celebrate the Lunar New Year

Mr. Nguyen Duc Thang, Chairman of the Phuoc Thien Commune People's Committee, said: "Annually, Biwase organizes incredibly meaningful charity programs, bringing practical and valuable gifts to the underprivileged residents of Phuoc Thien Commune. This is a significant source of encouragement and motivation, joining forces with the Party and local government to support those in need so they can celebrate the Lunar New Year. On behalf of the local government and the underprivileged residents, I sincerely thank Biwase and extend my best wishes for their continued impactful and meaningful charitable efforts in the years to come, which have greatly supported our community.

Biwase, originally a state-owned enterprise, underwent privatization and has been officially listed on the HoSE stock exchange since 2017. The company currently operates in the fields of water supply and waste treatment. Its water treatment system has a maximum capacity of 1 million cubic meters per day, supported by seven water plants that source water from the Dong Nai and Sai Gon rivers. The water supply network covers the entire Binh Duong Province, spanning an area of 2,694 square kilometers, as well as parts of Binh Phuoc Province and Ho Chi Minh City

Recently, on January 12, 2024, Biwase held the inauguration ceremony for a 5 MW waste-to-energy plant and increased the capacity for waste sorting, recycling, and treatment to 2,520 tons per day (with an actual intake of 2,350 tons per day). This development ensures that Biwase can handle all waste in Binh Duong Province and is investing in surplus capacity to accommodate future increases in waste generation. Additionally, the company is positioned to potentially receive waste from neighboring provinces
