At 4:00 PM on 15/3, the vessel arrived at ward 7, Ben Tre city to transfer water from the vessel into small boats which are allocated by the Fatherland Fronts of Binh Dai, Giong Trom, Mo Cay Nam and Chau Thanh districts to receive clean water for redistribution to the people. At the same time, Biwase also coordinated with the local authorities to pump clean water into tanks and vehicles to transfer water to provision stations for people.

In the morning of 16/3, hundreds of people in Ward 7, Ben Tre City brought equipment to receive clean drinking water

 

Mr. Do Minh Cuong, representative of Binh Duong Water - Environment Joint Stock Company, who was present on the vessel said that “watching people lining up to get water, we are no longer tired after a long and difficult journey. Everyone rushed in to support the people, support the water transport vehicle for further distribution. People who came to receive water said “If there is no clean water support, we have to pay from VND 250,000 to VND 300,000/m3. At the place where the vessel is anchored, there are hundreds of people who bring their cans get water for daily activities”!

The Fatherland Front of Mo Cai Nam, Giong Trom, Binh Dai and Chau Thanh districts brought vehicles to receive clean water for further distribution to people.

On the morning of 16/3, Mr. Duong Duy Khoa, Standing Member, Head of Movement Committee of the Fatherland Front Committee of Ben Tre province said: “The vessel transports 1,200m3 of clean water from Binh Duong by the Binh Duong Water – Environment Joint Stock Company has contributed to refreshing and salting for people in Ben Tre province. The government and people of Ben Tre are grateful for the timely assistance of the provinces and the sponsors for helping Ben Tre province to overcome these difficulties. The authority is distributing of clean water to localities on the priority of essential demand for water”!

 

Clean water from Biwase’s vessel is pumped to transport vehicles to the locations in the spirit of Priority for disadvantaged areas and difficult households.

Mr. Tran Chien Cong, General Director of Binh Duong Water - Environment Water Joint Stock Company, said: “The company coordinates 2 large vessels for alternately transportation of clean water to ensure continuous supply to people for their usage in eating and drinking, ensuring health to overcome this drought and saltiness. Clean water produced by Biwase meets QCVN 01: 2009 / BYT standards. Therefore, the vessels are cleaned to ensure the corresponding cleanliness so that the water delivered is always fresh, safe and good saline solution ".

Yesterday evening 15/3, the Biwase’s clean water vessel arrived at Ben Tre City, people brought their cans to receive water. The current price of fresh water is from VND 250,000 to VND 300,000/m3.

 

In addition to two large vessels constantly bringing clean water to support the desalination for Ben Tre province, “After survey, this week, Biwase will mobilize a container truck to transport bottle drinking water to support the elderly and the task force in fighting against drought and salt in Ben Tre province. In addition to the elderly, the task force of natural disaster prevention also needs to be supported” Mr. Nguyen Van Thien - Chairman of the Board of Biwase stated.

Mr. Duong Duy Khoa will inform about roads in Ben Tre province to ensure safety and convenience. All vehicles for providing support to Ben Tre in natural disaster prevention and mitigation are guided by local officials to ensure safety and promptness in the spirit of giving priority to people in need.
