In the afternoon of November 09th, 2017, a sharing experience meeting on administration and business planning was taken place by Binh Duong Water-Environment Joint Stock Company (BIWASE) and WANNON WATER company (Australia). 

Mr.Nguyen Van Thien-BIWASE’s President-hosted the meeting together with BIWASE’s management board as well as subsidiaries’ management board. WANNON mission comprised 5 members, led by Mr. Andrew Jeffers-Executive Director–as team leader, beside that, there was Mr. Peter Moore-former Chairman of Australian Water Association, the man in charge of BIWASE-WANNON-Twinning programe, accompanying with the mission to evaluate the twinning’s efficient.

At the working session, Mr. Nguyen Van Thien-BIWASE’s President-shared his experience on administration and strategy on developing company’s business through its stages. According to Mr.Thien’s presentation, BIWASE have gone through 3 main developing stages: a) stage 1: the company made all its focus on replacing old equipments, installing new ones; rehabilitating, developing the existing networks and constructing new networks to meet clean water demand of residents; b) stage 2: the company focussed on saving its expenditure by strengthening to reduce water loss, save energy, production cost and management cost; c) stage 3: the company focussed on its business development, extending its business fields into waste treatment and wastewater treatment, at the same time, expanding its investment outside the province.

This is the third Mission made by WANNON to BIWASE under the Twinning programe signed between the 2 companies in last May, 2017 and financed by Australian Water Association and Viet Nam Water Supply and Sewerage Association. The Mission lasted within one week, from November 04th to November 11th, 2017.

During this Mission, WANNON Mission also made discussions to share and exchange experience on assets management with BIWASE’s Directors and officers. They also visited BIWASE’s facilities to get more understanding on BIWASE’s current production and business situation.
