On December 12 in Hanoi, Vietnam Investment Review and Viet Research jointly organized the Announcement Ceremony of the Top 500 Leading Value-Creating Enterprises in Vietnam.

Amidst an increasingly volatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous (VUCA) business environment, successful enterprises worldwide, including in Vietnam, are undergoing profound strategic transformations aimed at sustainable development. Specifically, they are shifting from value extraction models to value creation models, with a focus on generating sustainable value for enterprises, shareholders, employees, and society as a whole.

In this context, Viet Research, in collaboration with Vietnam Investment Review, conducted a national study on the Top 500 Leading Value-Creating Companies in Vietnam for 2024 (Value 500), based on the evaluation of four key indicator groups:

1. Corporate financial indicators: Including revenue, profit, revenue growth rate over the past three years, total assets, ROA, ROE, and other relevant financial metrics.

2. Labor, workplace environment, and budget contribution indicators: Covering total number of employees, average employee income, human resource policies, and contributions to the state budget.

3. Investment in innovation and R&D indicators: Focusing on budgets allocated for innovation and development, creativity-related factors, as well as corporate culture, policies, and strategies for fostering innovation.

4. Commitment to ESG: Addressing corporate responsibilities in terms of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors.

This is a highly influential business community, not only leading in terms of revenue, profit, and contributions to the state budget but also pioneering in sustainable development, innovation, job creation, and human resource development. Through these efforts, they enhance competitiveness, deliver value to shareholders and stakeholders, and ensure social safety and stability.
