On June 27, 2026, Binh Duong Water – Environment Corporation JSC (BIWASE) held a contract signing ceremony with CNIM MARTIN (Germany) for the supply of municipal solid waste incineration equipment at BIWASE's headquarters. The agreement marks a strategic milestone in equipping the “Bai Bon (Ham Ninh) Waste Treatment Complex” in the Phu Quoc Special Zone, An Giang Province, with advanced waste treatment technology. The project is being developed by BIWASE.

Under the agreement, CNIM MARTIN will supply the equipment system for a 200-ton-per-day municipal solid waste incinerator. The project has a total estimated investment of more than VND 300 billion.

CNIM MARTIN has previously demonstrated its technological expertise through its successful collaboration with BIWASE in supplying equipment for a 500-ton-per-day waste-to-energy incineration plant. This latest agreement further reinforces the long-standing partnership, mutual trust, and shared commitment of both companies to developing sustainable environmental infrastructure.

As part of BIWASE's integrated infrastructure development in the locality, with a total investment exceeding VND 1.238 trillion, the project will help address solid waste management challenges while protecting Phu Quoc's unique marine ecosystem. It will also strengthen the region's green infrastructure in preparation for major international events, particularly the APEC 2027 Summit. Furthermore, the project will contribute to Phu Quoc Special Zone's green transition, promote the circular economy, and support the region's long-term sustainable development.
