(DTCK) Binh Duong Water – Environment Corporation - Joint Stock Company (BIWASE, ticker BWE - HOSE) officially increased its charter capital to VND 2,513.47 billion following the offering of more than 31.4 million shares to existing shareholders.



Concluding the offering on September 21, BIWASE issued all of its more than 31.4 million shares at VND 37,000 per share, raising VND 1,162.5 billion. The Company expects to transfer the shares to investors who participated in the offering to existing shareholders starting in October 2026, upon the completion of additional registration and depository procedures for the newly issued shares.

BIWASE recorded 3 major shareholders after the share offering

After completing the capital increase, BIWASE's charter capital rose from VND 2,199.3 billion to VND 2,513.47 billion. The company currently has three major shareholders: Investment and Industrial Development Corporation (Becamex IDC, ticker BCM - HOSE) owning 17.01% of the charter capital; Thu Dau Mot Water JSC (ticker TDM - HOSE) holding 37.42%; and Biwase Electric - Construction JSC holding 10.3%. The remaining 35.28% is held by minority shareholders owning less than 5% each.

Previously, BIWASE approved a plan to offer shares to existing shareholders at a ratio of 14.2857% (7:1), corresponding to the issuance of 31,418,377 additional shares at VND 37,000 per share.

Of the expected VND 1,162.5 billion mobilized, the Company will allocate VND 773.3 billion to settle maturing loans from banks and credit institutions; VND 225 billion to invest in Phase 1 of the 24MW Waste-to-Energy Plant project; and the remaining VND 164.2 billion to fund the acquisition of shares in Ninh Thuan Water Supply JSC. The Company's top priority for capital disbursement is the acquisition of Ninh Thuan Water Supply shares, followed by the investment in the waste-to-energy plant, and finally, the settlement of maturing debt..

Closing the trading session on September 21, BWE shares were trading around VND 40,850 per share.
