Is living away from child the biggest difficulty for Nhu Quynh?
Female rider is always disadvantaged compared to men because of motherhood. Almost throughout 2019, I trained in Nhon sport center to prepare for the SEA Games.
In those days, when I thought of my 4-year-old child, I shed tears. Miss of my child is the scariest thing for me during the training period. Sometimes, I am afraid that my child will forget my face, so I call home all the time.
Hearing my child say "Mom, come home with me", I just want to cry. I am very grateful to my husband because he "cover" my role as a mother to take care of the child. Personally, I resented, turned that into a motivation to try to exceed my own threshold to achieve good results.

* What is your greatest joy in this new year 2020, ma'am?
I must say that the gold medal of the 2019 SEA Games has made my husband's dream come true. From Hoa Binh to Binh Duong, I live in a 12m2 living room, watching my family live in cramped space. I always desire to have a spacious house to make a home.
And as soon as I won the gold medal, I received a call from the leader of BIWASE (the managing unit of Nhu Quynh) to announce a house purchase support.
This house was given priority to be completed and handed over to me after SEA Games. When I entered the new home, my son was very happy. Looking at his smile and I felt satisfied.
* How is your Tet holiday?
This Tet, although I am happy because of the prize from the gold medal of the SEA Games, I may have to enjoy TET far away from my hometown for another year.
This is because my husband's work is still busy, but more importantly, I am in the process of preparing for the BIWASE International Women's Bicycle Tournament, so even though I have to practice to maintain during the New Year.
For a whole year, after the SEA Games, I only went home with my child for a week to continue training. So during the Tet, I will spend time with my children.
I remember that TET in hometown was very happy. My family has some relatives in Binh Duong, so we will gather to make some spring cakes.
* Turning to 28 years old, what does Nhu Quynh prepare for the future?
I graduated from Sports University in Bac Ninh, so I want to be a coach or a job at the company after finishing my career. Many of my colleagues have also been offered jobs by the company after leaving the track.
