Contract package no. ICB/04: “Construction of the Sewage Collection System and Pumping Stations in Thu Dau Mot”
Southern Binh Duong Province Water Environment Improvement Project – Phase 2
(JICA Loan Agreement No. VN11-P10)

1. The Government of The Socialist Republic of Vietnam has received an ODA Loan from the Japan International Cooperation Agency, hereinafter referred to as JICA, toward the cost of Southern Binh Duong Province Water Environment Improvement Project – phase 2 and intends to apply a portion of the proceeds of the loan to payments under the contract for which this Invitation for Prequalification is issued.

2. The PMU for Southern Binh Duong Province Water Environment Improvement Project, hereinafter referred to “the PMU” would like to invite civil bidders to carry out construction, good manufacture, transportation, delivery, installation, testing, commissioning, of a separate sewage collection system including network pumping stations. The work also includes technical training of local staff for operation and maintenance.

3. The Contract Scope of Works includes the following:
a) Sewage collection system construction:
• Main trunk sewer pipelines (HDPE DN400-1200 mm): 10,800 m
• Branch sewer pipelines (uPVC DN200-300 mm) : 93,360 m
• Tertiary sewer pipelines (DN100-150 mm): 130,000 m
• Pressure pipelines (DIP and HDPE): 4,850 m
• Pre-cast sewer manholes (DN600-2000 mm): 2,040 units
• Pre-cast service connection junction boxes (DN300 mm): 10,000 units
• Sewage pumping stations in pre-cast manholes 5 stations
• Sewage pumping stations in cast-in-situ concrete structures 6 stations

b) Pumping station mechanical and electrical equipment:
• Procurement, delivery and installation of pumps, valves, station piping and ancillary equipment for pumping stations ranging in size from 10 l/sec to 350 l/sec
• Procurement of generators for emergency power supply;
• Power supply and distribution systems;
• Lighting, ventilation and other building systems
• Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system at each pumping station connected to the central SCADA system at the sewage treatment plant in Thu Dau Mot constructed under phase 1.

4. Interested bidders may receive the prequalification (P/Q) documents at the PMU’s office (free of charge). Time for issuance of the P/Q documents starts from 08 A.M, 09 January 2013 to before 09 A.M, 3 March 2014. Deadline of bid submission is 09 A.M, 3 March 2014. Bids shall be submitted at the following address:
