BIWASE PLANS FOR A MINIMUM PROFIT OF 640 BILLION VND

In 2025, Biwase has set a plan to achieve a minimum total revenue of 4,760 billion VND (with the parent company reaching at least 2,920 billion VND and its subsidiaries at least 1,840 billion VND), and a minimum after-tax profit for the parent company and subsidiaries of 640 billion VND (with the parent company at least 520 billion VND and subsidiaries at least 120 billion VND), representing minimum growth rates of 8.5% and 12.7%, respectively, compared to the results achieved in 2024.

Of which, the total water supply capacity is expected to reach 979,000 m³/day, the company-wide water loss rate will be maintained at or below 4.8%, the minimum dividend will be 13%, the minimum commercial water volume will be 220 million m³, and the number of water supply customers will increase by at least 20,000 connections
By the end of 2024, Biwase recorded a total revenue of 4,387 billion VND, an after-tax profit of 568 billion VND, and a water loss rate of only 4.8%.

Returning to the business plan for 2025, specifically in the water supply sector, the company plans to commence construction of a project to increase the capacity of the Nhi Thanh water plant by an additional 60,000 m³/day (with a total expected capacity of 120,000 m³/day), scheduled to officially commence operations in the third quarter of 2025; expand the scope of water supply services to Can Giuoc and Can Duoc districts in Long An province; plan for the 2025-2030 period to increase the capacity of the Biwase Quang Binh water plant to 30,000 m³/day, while developing and expanding the water supply system to serve the entire Quang Trach district and surrounding areas; increase the capacity of phase 3 of the Chon Thanh water plant from 30,000 to 60,000 m³/day; construct the Sai Gon - Mekong water plant with an expected capacity of 50,000 m³/day, anticipated to be operational in the second quarter of 2025; and continue to refine and submit clean water pricing proposals for approval.

Regarding the waste sector, Biwase is researching investments to expand its market in strategically significant locations; studying increasingly advanced and in-depth waste treatment solutions; continuing to explore solutions for the output of recycled products, particularly Con Voi Binh Duong fertilizer; investing in a 500-ton/day waste incinerator combined with a 12 MW power generation system; and continuing to refine and submit waste pricing proposals for approval.

In the wastewater sector, Biwase will continue to implement and enhance efforts to connect customers to wastewater services; continue to refine and submit proposals for unit pricing of domestic wastewater drainage services; and strengthen asset management and maintenance efforts to ensure efficient operations, contributing to water environment protection.

In addition, regarding merger and acquisition (M&A) activities, Biwase stated that if good opportunities arise in the water supply and waste sectors in areas with high potential for efficiency, within the scope of the company’s available capital, it will continue to invest in its core business areas.

As of December 31, 2024, Biwase has 9 subsidiaries, 10 associates , and 6 companies in which Biwase holds stakes, with a total financial investment capital of up to 5,134.33 billion VND. Of which, the company’s operations have expanded to numerous provinces and cities across the country, such as Ho Chi Minh City, Dong Nai, Binh Phuoc, Long An, Can Tho, Vinh Long, Quang Binh…

Regarding the profit distribution plan for 2024, Biwase has submitted to shareholders a plan to pay dividends at a rate of 13% in cash, equivalent to a total payout of more than 285.9 billion VND to shareholders.

It is known that Biwase is currently operating in three main sectors: production and trading of clean water; waste treatment; and wastewater collection and treatment. In Binh Duong province, Biwase manages and operates 9 water plants with a distribution network totaling 6,969 km, 1 waste treatment complex spanning 100 hectares, and 4 wastewater treatment plants. In provinces outside Binh Duong, Biwase is involved in managing and operating over 17 water plants in provinces such as Ho Chi Minh City, Dong Nai, Binh Phuoc, Long An, Can Tho, Vinh Long, Quang Binh…

Additionally, by the end of 2024, Biwase owns a water supply capacity of 979,000 m³/day, a wastewater treatment capacity of 87,000 m³/day, and a domestic waste treatment capacity of 3,000 tons/day.

Regarding stock performance, BWE shares have recently shown an upward trend, increasing by 6.9% from 42,290 VND to 45,200 VND per share between November 15, 2024, and March 4, 2025, and this upward trend continues.
