BIWASE WITH ASBR APPLICATION IN DOMESTIC WASTE WATER TREATMENT

Together with social-economic development in Binh Duong province in particular and Southeast region in general, urban municipal waste is always a “hot problem” mentioned in environment protection programmes. Sai Gon and Dong Nai rivers’ basin more and more suffer from pollution caused by waste water; underground water source is also under risk of domestic and industrial waste.

Southern Binh Duong Sewerage system includes: collection network and centralized Wastewater Treatment Plant. Project’s objective is to improve environmental sanitation, protect community’s health, make urban more beautiful and civilized, contribute to improving and protecting Sai Gon water source which is being used for water supply.

Recycling municipal waste, it seems to be easy, but no easy

Normally, after being classified, organic waste is often dumped into hills, then these hills attract insect come and make them become green manure. Such kind of fertilizer can be used as supported one in reducing expenditure for famers. Waste which cannot be used for fertilizer will be dumped in a place where is not our houses and no one complains about that.

A Workshop on new Technologies & Applications For Water and Wastewater Systems in Viet Nam held by Vietnam Water Supply and Sewerage Association (VWSA) and South East Asian Water Utilities Network (SEAWUN) was taken place at Melia Hotel, Hanoi, on July 26th, 2013. Invited honourable guests to the workshop are Mr. Cao Lai Quang-Deputy Minister of Construction, Chairman of VWSA, Mr. Noupheak Virabouth – SEAWUN’s President; Mr.Nguyen Van Thien – SEAWUN’s Executive Director, BIWASE’s General Director and many Leaders from management organizations under MOC, MPI and water utilities of Viet Nam and Laos, DPR.
